ABOUT

The Book

Jahi Kweli's You Me and EBT is an intelligent, thought-provoking and humorous tour inside what it's like to work as a welfare-to-work program skills builder and trainer in America's second largest city. Written by an expert in the field, the motivational book offers readers details from a rare perspective, where state employees' chief duty is to prepare and motivate SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) recipients to enter and re-enter the work force. An Amazon Publications release (First Print, 2012), You Me and EBT is a book of societal significance and relevancy for anyone who's interested in the topic of "the welfare system."
